The Band

Pat O'Donnell

Pat O'Donnell Vocals and Harmonica.

Pat's involvement with bands began during the '60s. Influenced by the new artists of the day, especially the Beatles, Blues, and R'n'B players and later Bob Dylan, he began to discover and develop his own singing and harp playing style. Since those early days, Pat has worked with other bands, and now with 'Running on Empty'. He plays examples of his best loved music from the Rock 'n Roll years.

Richard Champken

Richard Champken Guitar.

Although the youngest in the band, Richard has 10 years of gigging experience behind him. Putting down a solid electro-acoustic backing which has become a hallmark of ther band's sound, Richard adds a dimension which gives 'Running on Empty' that different edge.

Jim Rolt

Jim Rolt Bass.

The most recent recruit to the lineup, Jim, like the other band members, has been playing since schooldays, and was active in well known rock bands of the Midlands during the '70s, folk/rock music in the 80's and '90s, Jim now returns to his roots with 'Running on Empty'.

The Masters Brothers
Graham Masters. Lead Guitar.
